Crystal Inn
Crystal Inn is a chain of all suite hotels designed for the business traveler. The chain was established in the 1994 by Call's Investment Company which was established by Jay Call. Jay Call was the founder of the Flying J brand of truck stops.
In 1995, the chain passed to Jay's Daughter Crystal who continues on as the CEO.
Jay Call died in a plane crash in 2003. The recession forced the Call family to sell majority interest in Flying J to Pilot of Tennessee. Pilot then changed its name to Pilot Flying J..
The remaining assets of the Call family are now organized as Flying J Management. In 2012, FJ Management acquired Maverik Country Stores, which was developed by a different branch of the Call family.
