ARUP Blood Services is a service that collects for ARUP Laboratories. The blood may be used in Scientific Research at the U or for critical care at Utah hospitals.
I prefer donating through ARUP than through the Red Cross as the donation is made closer to the place where the blood will be used.
When you donate blood through ARUP, you build up points and can get knick-knacks like t-shirts, beanies or water bottles.
