Old Bridge Café, The

The Old Bridge Café at 247 East 3300 South is built by a refuge from Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina in the 1990s.

Mostar is a multicultural hub in Bosnia. The city became the center of fighting in the Bosnia war and many of the city's great treasures including its old bridge over the river Neretev were destroyed in the war.

The video features the restaurant's owner Ibro Sameric and talks about the food.

The bridge is considered by many to be a symbolic link between the East and West and reconstruction of the bridge plays a symbolic roll in an area trying to overcome the scourge of ethic cleansing.
