Safe Water for Utah Kids is a program that provides filtered drinking water fountains at schools and other locals.

The government adds chlorine to water; so that the water goes through pipes safely. You want to get that water out before you drink it. The only real difference between tap water and bottle water is the chlorine (and a few other things easily filtered away).

Giving kids filtered water at schools reduces the needs to send kids off to school with bottled water in containers made of petrochemicals.
