Power In You

Power In You is a mentoring project established by Utah's First Lady Kaye Huntsman. The program provides mentoring services to help at risk youth develop the power within themselves to overcome their life challenges to become valuable members of our society.

One of the innovative aspects of this program is the Power in You Parent Mentoring Project. This part of the project provides mentoring for parents of at risk children. Too many mentoring and education programs seem to be about bringing kids out of the family. So, I like the idea of programs designed to help empower people to become better parents.
