Wow, look at how fast those people get to drive in that big gigantic empty car pool lane.

Wouldn't it be great to drive in that lane?

Look at that fine young gentleman in that shiny car with the sirens on top. He will give you an expensive ticket when you try to drive in that lane with just one person in your car.

Well, UTA Rideshare is an organization that wants to put you in that fast lane. They accomplish this task by helping get people together to form car pools.

For those unfamiliar with the term "car pool", the term does not refer to a Humvee so large that you can fit a swimming pool in it. The term refers to a social situation where there is more than one person in a car.

Back to our daily lessons:

Look at the high price on that gas pump. That price is high because we are wasting fuel.

Look at that smoggy air (gasp, cough...cough, gasp)! That is from all the cars on the road.

For those of you who are wondering: Yes, the owner of Salt Lake Sites is an eco-jabbering meadow muffin; However, the idea behind Utah Ride Share is sound. We can improve our quality of life by sharing the ride and reducing the number of cars on the road.
