<== Site Review (2004-10-12) ==>

If it didn't grow out of the ground, fall out of the sky, pop out of the water or materialize from cyberspace...it probably came from the ground.

Utah has one of the most fascinating collection of geological formations and geological history of any area on the planet. From inland seas to towering precambrian mountains to deep crevaces in soft sandstone, Utah has it all. Best of all...living in a desert means that we can see the geology. It's right there towering over Salt Lake in the form of the Wasatch Mountains.

As the mountains themselves don't have a web site. I though I would give the site of the day to the University of Utah's College of Mines and Earth Sciences which is full of people studying the geology.
