The City Arts Council is one of the major centers of art and cultural activity in Salt Lake City. The center oversees activities such as the Living Traditions Festival that runs from May 21 through May 23, 2004 at the City County Building in downtown Salt Lake.

The council is located at The Art Barn (54 Finch Lane), which houses the Finch Lane Gallery. The council offers several grant opportunities for area artists and provides lecture series and support for events throughout the year.

The Public Art section of the site breaks down the display of art displays by city district. This is a handy tool for finding artworks in your favorite Salt Lake City neighborhood.
