Description	When I first moved into Salt Lake City, the Salt Palace was a big round building that was home to the Utah Stars--a professional basketball team in the ABA league. After the desolution of the ABA, the Salt Palace went through a major renovation and is now the premiere convention center in the Mountain West. The Salt Palace sees a steady stream of major business conventions and entertainment events. The Main Tower of the Salt Palace has an interesting accoustical feature. The windmills outside the tower trigger chimes that you can hear when you stand in the tower. While you are visiting the facility you might take a moment to relax in the entrance.
