Salt Lake Sites

Liberty Park is the primary public park for the Salt Lake Valley. The park includes Tracy Aviary, a small selection of amusement park style rides, a duck pond, fountains, a running track and several playgrounds.

The park is the site of numerous public events including the annual pioneer days fireworks celebration.

• Red Butte Garden (23 events): Red Butte Gardens is another popular location for outdoor events.
• Sugarhouse Park (0 events): Sugarhouse Park is about three miles Southeast of Libery Park.
• Wheeler Farm (1 events): Wheeler Farm in Sandy is another popular location for outdoor events.
• Heritage Park / Hogle Zoo (9 events): Heritage Park and Hogle Zoo at the mouth of Emigration Canyon includes a pioneer park and exotic animal exhibits.
• Murray City Park (0 events): Murray City Park is located at about 5100 South State Street in Murray City.
