With new a new voucher law in place and a new charter school system in the works, Utah is undergoing a mini-renaissance in education. Carden Memorial School is one of the notable highlights of Utah's private education system. This school was founded in 1969 by Donald and Anna Lou Jeffs to teach the Carden Curriculum. The Carden Curriculum was developed by a New York laboratroy school run by a Miss Carden in the 1930s.
