dbx Professional Audio

dbx Professional Audio was founded in 1971 by David Blackmer to create high quality sound systems for musicians. They quickly became a leader in noise reduction systems. The company continues to be a leader in developing professional grade recording and production electronics.

The company was purchased by Birmingham Sound Producers in 1970. They are now a division of Harman which, in turn, is owned by Samsung. Sadly, the company's youtube channel is sparse. This video discusses use of the ZC7 Zone Controller.
