Project FANchise

Project FANchise is an innovative effort to let the fans call the shots.

The group bought an indoor football franchise that will play at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

The innovative thing is that the team will let the fans call the shots. The fans will name the team, choose the mascot. Fans will even get to choose the draft picks, the coach and call plays.

The group is aiming at football fans around the globe, not just Salt Lake. The fanchise concept seems to be a great way to build an international team that just happens to play home games in Salt Lake.

It will be interesting to see how fanchise fairs...As for me, I say, "why be a wimp and kick the ball? Go for the 9 year touch down on fourth down."
