Utah Tar Sands Resistance

Utah Tar Sands Resistance is opposed to the development of tar sands in scenic Southern Utah. Here is a video of the resistance force in action.

Tar sands are a marginal energy source. Developing the tar sands will create a great deal of pollution. Destroying scenic areas for a marginal gain is foolish.

The resistance movement is framing this as a struggle of life against death. While, I am not big on developing tar sands, I would disagree with the statment that our survival depends on the resistance.
