Solar panels are based on many of the same technologies as the computer industry. As you know the price of this technology keeps dropping. The cost of financing and installing solar panels is dropping below the cost of electricity from the power grid. We are now at the point where reduced electrical bills will pay for the panels. Having hit this sweet spot, it is likely that Utah will see a huge boom in the solar panel industry.
