Motel 6

I was out scouting locations for a the best hotel at the best price for visiting downtown Salt Lake and settled on the Salt Lake downtown Motel 6.

This motel is located at 176 West 600 South Street. 600 South is the primary exit into Salt Lake City from I15/I80. This exit is a large one way street. You need to just gradually merge left and pull into the parking lot at the big "Motel 6" sign.

There is a UTA Trax station a block Northeast of the Motel. The Trax line will bring you downtown, to the University of Utah, the Airport or Sandy.

Motel 6 has several other properties in the valley including a Studio 6 Motel in the Fort Union area optimized for longer stays.
