Bell Organic

Bell Organic is a farm in Draper engaged in Community Share Agriculture. Members of a CSA buy a share in a farm's crop. They receive boxes filled with produce throughout the summer.

If it is a good year, the members of the CSA gets loads of fresh food. If it is a lean year, then you don't get all that much.

From the farmer's perspective, the CSA model is great because it fixes the expenses for the year. The farmer will know how much they will make during the planting season; rather than being ravaged by vagaries of the market.

From the consumer's perspective, the program is great because you will receive locally grown fresh produce throughout the year from a farm that you know. Bell Organic made videos of their shipments last year. The video below shows the shipments for week five of the program:
