No More Homeless Pets in Utah
No More Homeless Pets in Utah is a campaign to reduce the number of homeless pets and to someday eliminate the need to euthanize animals. According to UtahPets.com, Utah puts 30,000 pets to sleep each year. This number is increasing dramatically with the financial downturn.
The best way to reduce the pet overpoluation is to spay or neuter the family pet.
Pet ownership is expensive. A typical family pet will consume over $5,000 in food, vet bills and other resources. When you "give away" cute kittens and puppies, you are saddling the gift recipient with a heavy bill.
