Utah Lepidopterists' Society

Got butterflies in the stomach?

The Utah Lepidopterists' Society might be able to help you identify them.

The Utah Lepidopterists' Society is a group fascinated with the study of butterflies and moths. The group holds meetings throughout the state, and offer a variety of interesting field trips such as the upcoming trip to Blacksmith Fork Canyon during which Dr. Wayne Whaley will discuss the indra swallowtail butterfly.

If you can't make it into the field to chase butterflies, you can keep updated on the society's news with the Utah Lepidopterist bulletin.

Kids will enjoy the web site Utah Bug Club which provides an fun introduction to the creepy crawly things that share our desert environment.
