Salt Lake Downtown Alliance

The Salt Lake Downtown Alliance helps maintain the Central Business District of Salt Lake City as the hub of Utah's social, cultural and economic life. The alliance sponsors an on going slate of open air art events, and works as a voice for the businesses that have chosen to locate in the heart of the city.

The web site provides information on activities including the The Farmer?s Market in Pioneer Park, the Craft Market, First Night and other events.

Of course, you can't really get the feel of downtown from a web site. The best way to experience downtown is to jump on Trax and see it for yourself. NOTE, you only need to buy the inbound fare into Salt Lake...if you make a purchase at participating downtown business, the Downtown token will pay for your ride home.
