First Class Education holds that schools would be better if the school districts spent more money directly on the classroom. The organization is putting forward the radical proposal that school districts spend 65% of their operating budget on education, that is either in the classroom or library.
The initiative is the brainchild of Patrick Byrne of Overstock.com.
