It is always great to come across web sites for community spirited organizations and individuals. The Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary is a facility for animals in need. The organzation provides rescue and permanent facilities for Utah's homeless pets and forgotten animals. The sanctuary in Riverton includes cats, dogs, Llamas, pigs, rabbits, sheep, turkeys, eums, goats, peafowl and other critters. You can see some of the residents on the animals page.The site doesn't stop with rescuing animals. events for the group lists monthly vegan cooking classes at Wild Oats downtown and in Sugarhouse.
The site has opportunities for volunteers, and offers tours on a limited basis.
