The web is an extremely popular tool for community organizations. They provide sites to advertise their presence, and as a tool to help their members communicate. As a result, the community directory is biggest and most popular subdirectory in Salt Lake Sites. It is often hard to classify community organizations. So I list here, in no apparent order, several of the sites.

Envision Utah (www.envisionutah.org) is a political organization concerned with defining quality growth policies in Utah. The site contains a great deal of information on the challenges of growth in the valley, and are eager to hear your opinions.
Downtown Salt Lake City (www.downtownslc.org) - review Sponsored by the non-profit down town alliance. This site provides information about the cultural and businesses in Salt Lake's Central Business District (CBD).
Sutherland Institute (www.sutherlandinstitute.org) Utah`s public policy research institute, advocating private initiative in public policy.
Wasatch Front Regional Council (www.wfrc.org) includes Salt Lake, Morgan, Davis, Tooele and Weber counties with goal to provide cooperation and coordination among member entities regarding transportation, planning, and growth issues.

Utah Nonprofits Association (www.utahnonprofits.org) UNA strives to be the cental location for information and advocacy for the nonprofit sector as a whole in Utah.
